The Director of the AAOIFI Centre for Islamic Finance Development, Amier Al-Mousa, met with the Mufti Council of Uzbekistan.
The meeting focused on the development of partnership (Islamic) finance in Uzbekistan, the role of AAOIFI standards, and capacity building.
Both sides discussed opportunities for collaboration, including educational programmes, technical support, and knowledge exchange.
Members of the Central Shari’ah Board attended the meeting and emphasised the importance of a structured approach to developing partnership finance in the
country.
