These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of all services, content, and features provided by the مركز أيوفي لتطوير التمويل الإسلامي ("the Centre", "we", "us", "our") through this website (the "Website"). By accessing or using the Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.
These Terms should be read together with our سياسة الخصوصية, Cookies Policy, and any specific policies applicable to individual services described below.

The AAOIFI Centre for Islamic Finance Development is a platform established by AAOIFI (Accounting and Auditing Organisation for Islamic Financial Institutions). References to "we", "us", and "our" mean the Centre and/or AAOIFI, as applicable. The Centre operates across several service areas described throughout these Terms.
General Website Use
You may use this Website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to use the Website in any way that:
- Violates applicable laws or regulations
- Infringes the intellectual property rights of the Centre, AAOIFI, or any third party
- Is harmful, fraudulent, misleading, or abusive
- Interferes with or disrupts the Website's infrastructure or security
- Attempts to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Website or its systems

AAOIFI Standards & Publications
The Website provides access to AAOIFI Shari'ah Standards, Accounting Standards, Auditing Standards, Governance Standards, and Ethics Standards ("Standards"), as well as exposure drafts, consultation papers, and working group outputs.
Permitted use
You may access, read, and download published Standards summaries for personal, research, or educational reference.
Restricted use
Reproduction, redistribution, or commercial use of full Standards texts requires a separate licence from AAOIFI. Contact standards@cisaaoifi.com.

Submissions made to public consultations or exposure drafts become part of the due-process record and may be published in summary form.
Knowledge Hub & Content
The Knowledge Hub offers articles, research reports, press releases, announcements, and insights ("Content") authored by the Centre, AAOIFI staff, or invited contributors.
- All Content is protected by copyright. You may share links to articles but may not reproduce Content in full without written permission.
- Downloadable resources (PDFs, reports) are provided for personal, non-commercial use only unless otherwise stated.
- Views expressed by guest contributors are their own and do not necessarily represent the official position of the Centre or AAOIFI.
- Article comments are subject to moderation. We reserve the right to remove comments that are offensive, misleading, or off-topic.
- Registered users who post comments retain ownership of their comments but grant the Centre a perpetual, royalty-free licence to display them.
Capacity Building Programmes
The Centre offers professional development programmes, training workshops, academic courses, in-house solutions, and certification pathways ("Programmes").
- Enrolment: Registering for a Programme constitutes a binding commitment. Cancellation and refund terms are set out at the time of registration and vary by programme type.
- Certification: Certificates issued upon completion are the intellectual property of the Centre. They may not be altered or reproduced without authorisation.
- Attendance: Minimum attendance requirements apply to all live and online programmes. Failure to meet requirements may result in forfeiture of certification.
- Materials: Training materials provided during Programmes are for the exclusive use of enrolled participants and may not be shared or redistributed.
- Member discounts: Discounts available to members are subject to active membership status at the time of enrolment.
Events & Registrations
The Website lists upcoming and past events including conferences, webinars, forums, and workshops ("Events").
- Registration: Submitting an event registration constitutes acceptance of that event's specific terms, including payment obligations.
- Cancellations: Cancellation deadlines and refund policies are stated on each event's registration page. The Centre reserves the right to cancel or reschedule Events, in which case registered participants will be notified and offered a refund or transfer.
- Photography & recording: Events may be photographed or recorded by the Centre. By attending, you consent to your image being used in promotional materials unless you notify us otherwise in writing.
- Member pricing: Discounted rates for members require a valid active membership at the time of registration.
- Sponsorship: Event sponsorship arrangements are governed by separate sponsorship agreements.

The Centre offers institutional and fellowship membership tiers with associated benefits including access to exclusive content, event discounts, and capacity building discounts.
- Eligibility: Membership applications are reviewed and approved at the Centre's sole discretion. Approval is not guaranteed.
- Accuracy of information: Members must provide accurate, current information in their application and keep it up to date.
- Renewal: Membership is subject to annual renewal. Failure to renew by the due date results in suspension of membership benefits.
- Seat invitations: Institutional members may invite additional seat users within their allocated allowance. Seat users are bound by these Terms.
- Termination: The Centre may terminate membership for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or conduct detrimental to the reputation of the Centre or AAOIFI.
- Member directory: Members consent to appearing in the public member directory unless they opt out in their profile settings.
الخدمات الاستشارية
The Centre provides advisory, consultancy, and Shari'ah-related advisory services to financial institutions, regulators, and other organisations.
- Advisory service enquiries submitted through the Website initiate a scoping process only. No binding engagement exists until a formal agreement is signed.
- Information shared during an advisory enquiry is treated as confidential in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
- Advisory outputs and recommendations are provided for informational purposes and do not constitute legal, financial, or Shari'ah rulings unless explicitly stated in a formal engagement letter.
- The Centre's liability for advisory services is limited to the terms set out in the applicable service agreement.
User Accounts & Member Portal
Certain Website features — including the Member Portal, programme enrolment, and event registration — require a registered user account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
- Accounts are personal and may not be shared with or transferred to another person.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- Profile photos and information you upload to your account must not infringe third-party rights or violate applicable law.
- We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that are inactive for an extended period or that violate these Terms.
- Account deletion requests can be submitted via the portal settings or by contacting info@cisaaoifi.com.
