This closed roundtable convened Zakat authorities, Islamic scholars and finance professionals from across the CIS region to explore the harmonisation of Zakat accounting standards. The session drew on AAOIFI’s Zakat Accounting Standard and examined practical challenges of implementation at the institutional level.
